Which of the women is subject to mobilization

WHO IS UNDER THE MOBILIZATION OF WOMEN?
Based on the Law "On Military Duty and Military Service", which has been in force since 1992, there are certain categories of women who can be involved in military service. Despite the fact that the list of specialties in Clause 11 of Article 1 of this law has undergone changes over time, the basic conditions have remained almost unchanged.
According to this law, women who meet the following criteria can be registered for military service:
Health and age: Women must be fit for military service in terms of health and age.
Education: they must have a university, professional pre-university or professional education completed in the relevant institutions.
Women's specialty: In addition, they must have a medical or pharmaceutical specialty.
Related specialties: Women who have specialties or professions related to the military, the list of which is approved by the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine (MOU), may be considered for registration at their own request.
During the mobilization of women who meet the specified criteria, they are granted the rights and obligations provided for by the current legislation on military service. This includes, in particular, the right to undergo military training and the obligation in case of mobilization. The rights and duties of women in military service are regulated by military legislation.
The mobilization of women is necessary to ensure the defense capability of the country and its protection in case of need. Therefore, the law provides for the possibility of accepting women into military service on an equal basis with men in the relevant accounting specialties.
It is important to note that conscripted female doctors are not prohibited from traveling abroad. Restrictions apply only to some categories of civil servants and officials.
Currently, women are not called up for military service. However, they have the right to voluntarily enter military service under a contract if they meet the requirements of the law.
It should also be noted that most women who are on the military register have the right to a deferment or exemption. For example, women who are single mothers of minor children, disabled children or mothers of three children can use the right to deferment or exemption. If there is a child under the age of majority in the family of conscripts, then only one of the parents can be mobilized to the ranks of the Armed Forces, usually women use this right. But if the child has already reached the age of majority and can also be drafted into the Armed Forces, then all family members, that is, all three, can be mobilized for military service.
This information will help to better understand which women can be mobilized according to the current legislation of Ukraine regarding military duty and military service.
It is also important to understand that legislation in wartime conditions changes very quickly and adapts to new realities. That is, categories of women who were not subject to mobilization yesterday may already have other duties tomorrow, so be careful and check the information for relevance.
