In Ukraine, youth organizations have the status of non-profit organizations, and the founders can only be individuals, namely citizens of Ukraine, stateless persons, or foreigners.

The name of a youth organization must consist of two parts: the first is the organizational and legal form, and the second is the actual name. For example, NGO "Champion".

A youth organization is a subtype of a public organization, therefore the registration process is identical to that of any other public organization.

First, it is necessary to hold a founding meeting. At this meeting, a decision is made to establish a youth organization. The decision is recorded in the minutes. The minutes must include information about the founding meeting, its participants, the decision to create the organization, the goals of the future activities of the organization, and other relevant details.

It is also necessary to attach a register of participants to the minutes, which should contain information about the founders, authorized persons, as well as the name, code, and address of the legal entity.

The minutes must be signed by the chairman and the secretary of the meeting.

In addition, it is necessary to draft an application, the organization’s statute, and fill out a registration card.

These documents must be submitted to the state registrar within 60 calendar days from the date of the founding meeting.

The state registrar reviews the submitted documents, and if there are no grounds for refusing registration, then:

  • an order on the registration of the association is issued;

  • information about the association is entered into the Unified State Register;

  • an extract from the Unified State Register and a description with an access code to the statute in electronic form on the website of the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine are issued.

The registration of a youth organization in Lviv with the help of our qualified specialists will be carried out efficiently and promptly. You will avoid unnecessary bureaucratic procedures, be able to focus on the organization’s activities, and we will handle all the legal matters.
