Since December 20, 2023, it has become possible to re-register a car through the Diia mobile application, without the need to visit the service centers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and stand in queues.

What services were presented at the Diia Summit?

Since the launch of the service, 70 applications have been submitted in the first few hours. The purchase and sale agreement is signed exclusively through Diia. This greatly simplifies the process - now you do not need to go to service centers, buy additional documents, wait in banks and pay commissions.

How to re-register a car in Diia?

In the "Services" section, select the "Sell a vehicle" option.

Select a vehicle from the list for sale.

Specify the cost of the car.
The seller enters contact information (phone and email).
Check the contract, confirm the correctness of the data and click "Confirm".
The seller generates a link or QR code in Diia.
The buyer follows the link or scans the QR code.
The buyer agrees to the terms, chooses the type of technical passport (plastic and electronic or only electronic).
After successful verification, the contract is signed through Diya.Signature.
The numbers can be left old or new individual ones can be ordered. The documents are sent to the administrator of the MIA service center, who approves the numbers and registration certificate. Ready-made documents can be obtained at the Ukrposhta branch, and electronic ones will appear in Diya.

This service is available for cars, motorcycles and mopeds. The car must be free of arrests and not be wanted. This must be the first sale of a vehicle in a calendar year for which tax is not required.
